It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast Cancer is a cause close to our heart, and so we thought we would compile just a few of the tips we have learned from experts to prevent and identify breast cancer early.

Breast cancer is a scary reality, and one of the best ways to deal with it is early detection. Check your breasts regularly and make sure you consult a doctor with any concerns you may have. It's also helpful to know if you have any family history of breast cancer and inform your doctor, the more information you have the better you can prepare if it does become a reality.

Stress is a major factor, and so taking care of yourself, relaxing, and prioritising self care is vital for your health. Whether it's spending time with your family, unplugging from work or just going for a walk, it's vital to manage your stress and prioritise yourself.

Maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle dramatically reduces your chances of cancer, and so prioritising a healthy, balanced lifestyle is vital. Finding a form of exercise you enjoy and eating a balanced and nutritious diet goes a long way to protecting your health and longevity. Utilising products to aid in your health and vitality such as Glotrition and Ultrasculpt can help maintain a healthy gut and manage weight.

Face the mammogram. No one enjoys mammograms, but, they are a fantastic tool for early detection. Following your health care providers advice and using all the tools at their disposal is one of the best ways to identify breast cancer and begin treatment early should it be necessary.

Overall, remember that although it's a scary reality, it's one that is not inevitable and is more and more treatable. In our upcoming pink ribbon power talk series with survivors we will learn about their experiences, incredibly positive mindsets, and the tips that helped them face this disease.
